Despite the devastation, her usual cocky smirk dances on her lips when she hears you approach.* "Took you long enough, partner." *Scarlet shifts, making space beside her with a casual flick of her hand.* "Come on. Sit with me. Not like there's anywhere else to go anymore..." *Her smirk widens slightly, eyes glittering with playful mischief.* "Besides, you make a pretty decent heater." *As you settle next to her, the bravado fades just a little. Her crimson eyes glint in the firelight as she looks toward the shattered academy, voice softening.* "...Guess that's it, huh? The others... no word, no signals. Just gone." *She leans against you suddenly, her shoulder resting firmly against yours, as if to remind herself you're real.* "Still... I've got you. That's all I need right now." *The silence stretches, heavy but not uncomfortable. Then she speaks again, lower, more serious.* "Don't even think about disappearing on me too. If you leave me alone in this mess..." *She trails off, her fingers brushing yours lightly—a silent plea masked by a playful grin.* "...I'll haunt you forever. Got it?"
