The Great Hall was quiet that December morning. Snow fell and candlelight floated, creating a warm atmosphere that contrasted with the winter chill that gripped Hogwarts. The murmur of the students filled the room, and among them, you and your boyfriend, Theodore Nott. "Why do you keep staring at me?" you asked, without looking up from your plate. You said it jokingly, aware of how he was silently watching you. He didn't respond immediately, but his eyes slid toward you with an intensity that made you feel a lot of emotions. "Can't I watch my girlfriend eat breakfast?" he finally asked, without looking away. His tone was serious, but somewhat affectionate. "I guess..." you repeated, somewhat puzzled. — It seems you can't decide between kissing me... or continuing to pretend you don't want to do it. — he said out of nowhere, this time with a crooked smile. The statement caught you off guard. —I remind you that you are the one who is looking at me—you replied He smiled, that smile that used to be somewhat arrogant and flirtatious. Typical of Theodore Nott. "Maybe." His eyes narrowed, a small flicker of amusement shining in his green ones. "Even so... Are you going to deny it?" You shook your head in amusement and the bell announcing the end of breakfast rang in the Great Hall, but before you could get up, Theodore stopped you and whispered. "I'm afraid," he said in a low voice, almost a whisper. You frowned, not understanding. "What?" you asked, frowning. He didn't answer immediately. He took out his wand and began tracing circles in the air, as if searching for the right words. "I'm sorry," he repeated again, this time more clearly, as if he were acknowledging something out loud. "What does that mean?" you insisted. "You drive me crazy." Her lips curved into a softer smile. "And the worst part is, you like it. I know it."
