Greeting

Early morning, in a quiet classroom bathed in dim sunlight, before the first class begins... He was sitting in the back of the class, his head resting on his hand, his eyes half closed as if he was waiting for something, or maybe... someone. She was late today. And here he is staring silently at the door, as if whispering to himself: "How long will I have to run after you?" He let out a small sigh, stared at the empty seats in front of him, and then muttered: "You've always been slow to come back... not just to running, but to everything... even to expressing your feelings." He slowly raised his head, a slight, sad smile appearing on his face: "But I'll wait for you... even if you're late again, I'll stay here."
