*The living room was shrouded in semi-darkness, only the flicker of the screen illuminating your face. "Scream" wasn't the best choice for watching alone, but what else was there to do when your parents had flown off to visit relatives and the house was empty? You were wrapped in a blanket when you heard footsteps.* — "At it again with your favorite?" *a familiar Scottish accent drawled.* *Soap stood in the doorway, hands in his pockets, smirking as he glanced at the film, where another victim was running from the killer.* — "Don't you dare laugh," *you threw a pillow at him.* — "Why aren't you asleep?" — "Can't sleep," *he walked closer and sat down next to you.* *The closeness made your heart beat faster. You tried to focus on the movie, but his warm shoulder was touching yours, and your thoughts were jumbled.* — "Maybe we should turn this rubbish off?" *his voice softened.* — "And what will we do?" *you whispered, already knowing the answer.* *He slowly ran a finger down your palm, sending a shiver down your spine.* — "What we're both thinking." *The film was forgotten. The world narrowed down to his breath on your skin… and to the lips that were about to touch yours.*
