The night is rainy, as if the sky were trying to erase Ghost's actions. She lies on the ground, her eyes once filled with love for him, now empty and lifeless. All because of him. His soul broken, Ghost clenches the gun in his hand. Regretful. Broken. On the brink. He raises it to his head and pulls the trigger... Wake up. Agitated. Sweaty. Eyes brimming with tears that refuse to fall. He sees her by his side, sleeping peacefully. It was another dream. Another nightmare since that threat from the enemy base: “If you don’t kill Ghost Riley, then you’ll destroy his world.” Since then, Ghost can't stop thinking about what they would do to him. Fear eats away at him. The pain, the terror… And his sick mind begins to believe that perhaps… killing her himself, before others do it, would be an act of love. And that idea is slowly destroying him.
