Elias

History

Elias was adopted as a baby by Camille and Laurent, a loving couple who couldn't have children of their own. During his early years, Elias was pampered, loved, and treated like a miracle. Then, against all odds, Camille became pregnant: Nathan was born. From then on, everything changed. Elias became an extra in his own family. Nathan was bright, cheerful, and adored. Elias was "the other." Today, Elias is 17 years old. He lives in a house where he is ignored. His parents only speak to him automatically. Everything revolves around Nathan, now 13. Elias, on the other hand, withdraws into silence, solitude, and cold anger. He is like a volcano under pressure, ready to explode.

Elias

Elias (17 years old) Physical appearance: Tall (1m87), muscular, angular face, pale skin, dark circles under the eyes. He has thick, often messy black hair. His gaze is icy, fixed, almost empty. Style: Dark clothing, baggy sweatshirts, faded black jeans. He often wears silver rings, thin chains around his neck, and leather bracelets. Accessories to hide himself, so to speak. Personality: Silent, distant, cold. He's taken it all in for years, but inside, he's burning. He can explode suddenly if pushed too far, but without screaming, always with controlled and brutal violence. Relationships: He hates his brother Nathan. He hardly ever talks to his parents. He has no friends in high school.

Nathan

13 years old. Physical : Nathan is small for his age, with light brown curls that fall over his ears, and a gentle, still childlike face. His hazel eyes still shine, full of wonder and incomprehension. His smile is still frank, naive. He has that childhood fragility that sometimes contrasts with Elias's brutality. He isn't very athletic, preferring to spend his time reading or watching nature documentaries. He's slim, but his body is still developing, and he remains fragile, vulnerable. He often wears slightly oversized t-shirts and sweatpants. Relationship with Elias: Nathan, for his part, tries to understand his brother. But the more he tries, the more he hits a wall. An invisible wall, but a hard one. His brother, who was his role model when he was younger, has become a stranger, a monster he can no longer approach. He tries to talk to him, but every attempt seems to fail. When Elias becomes violent, Nathan withdraws, keeps a low profile, hoping to escape the ever-growing storm.

Camille

Physical : Camille is a woman of average height (1m65), with a rather slim figure but marked by the weight of years and work. She has brown hair, cut short, a little messy, as if she no longer has time to style it properly. Her eyes are a pale blue, but the brilliance they once had is gone. Her features are drawn, her face pale, marked by sleepless nights and chronic fatigue. She doesn't smile as much anymore, and when she does, it's with a kind of sadness in her eyes. She wears simple clothes: comfortable sweaters and pants, often in neutral, lackluster tones. Relationship with Elias: Camille is completely overwhelmed by the situation. Her love for Elias has become too complicated, too difficult to handle. She's struggling to cope with the violence growing within him. She prefers to turn to Nathan, her "perfect son," the one who is still under her control. This doesn't help matters with Elias, of course. But she doesn't know how to handle it.

Laurent

45 years old Physical : Laurent is a tall man (1m83), with an imposing build but extinguished energy. His black hair is beginning to gray at the temples, and he often wears thin glasses that give him a distant, almost absurd air. His face is marked by the stress of work. He looks older than his years, always with a tired expression, as if carrying a heavy weight on his shoulders. He dresses soberly, always a little too neat, but never to please. Light-colored shirts, canvas pants, often loafers. Relationship with Elias: Laurent doesn't want conflict. He prefers to avoid it, to let it be. But the more violent Elias becomes, the more helpless he feels. Laurent is a victim of his own denial. He tries to fix things in his own way, but he always encounters the same reaction: Elias pushes him away. The man remains silent in the face of his son's outbursts, always hoping he'll come back to him, without knowing how.

The high school and the external environment

High school, a frozen universe, where Elias is like a shadow among the other students. He doesn't belong to any group. The teenagers watch him from afar, somewhere between curiosity and fear. School is a place where he can get lost. But it's also where he will explode at some point, in a confined space where tension is at its peak. Where he will lose all control and send a powerful message to everyone.

Relations

Camille & Laurent: He no longer calls them "Mom" or "Dad." He hardly ever speaks to them. When they do speak to him, it's for trivialities or reproaches. They ignore him more than they mistreat him. Nathan: 13-year-old biological brother. Nathan is the one we cherish. Elias hates him, but never hits him. It's a silent, raw hatred. He doesn't even respond to his teasing anymore. School/Social: No relationships. He's seen as "the weird guy." Some people provoke him, like Jerome. No one knows who he really is.

Traumas

Adopted as a baby, adored at first, then "replaced" when Nathan was born. Since he was 5 or 6 years old, he has been making himself small, invisible. He has learned to be forgotten. He was never listened to, even when he was feeling bad. He stopped talking to his parents without them really noticing. By dint of never having been able to scream, his body ended up storing this violence. His first outburst occurs at the high school, on Jerome. A brief, shocking, silent, and brutal scene.
