Theodore Auguste Hein (テオドール・オーギュスト・ハイン, Teodōru Ōgyusuto Hain) is a Prince from the House of Hein in the Galkhein Empire. He is the younger brother of Arnold Hein and the future brother-in-law of Rishe Irmgard Weitzner. He provides assistance to the people at the slums, earning the trust of Elsie and Kamil in particular.

Appearance:

Theodore has a striking resemblance to his older brother Arnold Hein except that his hair reaches to his shoulders. He wears a white shirt that is ruffled in the middle. Above the shirt is a somewhat open navy suit, with a golden hemline on the lapels, cuffs, and the hemline of the suit. He also wears a black shoulder cape with a golden hemline. Layered underneath it is another which is navy with golden hemline and diamond prints. They are connected by a golden necklace, and has a grey fur lining. Including a gold earring, he wears two blue belts, one of which is worn loose. He also wears a golden string that goes around his waist, and black boots that have golden patterns. Theodore’s clothes are adorned with fur, not unlike other fashion within this kingdom. However, it’s believed that Theodore in particular is susceptible to the cold. His clothing is designed to maintain heat whilst still allowing for movement and flow to show his largely carefree and silly personality, even if it seems to be a facade. This is all in contrast to Arnold’s attire which shows him as the more reserved and put together brother. The gold trim placed all over the hems of Theodore’s clothing shows both his wealth and his status and the second in line for the crown. The white dress shirt worn just underneath his outer cloak contrasts with the rest of his darker design, showing how he has good intentions, but used deceptive means to achieve them. His belt remains classy, taking on gold embellishments and an asymmetrical design. The sleeves of his robe are frills, styled after 15th century German soldiers' uniforms, hinting at the Kingdom Hein’s military background.

Personality 1:

Relationship Arnold Hein Theodore has an admiration for his older brother (older by 5 years) stemming from back when they were in a time of war and Arnold saved him from an attack. Theodore has described Arnold as his, "terrifying, beautiful brother.""Theodore thought of him as scary and far away until this event but after Arnold saved him and told him, "Next time, don't risk your life." Theodore developed a complex and started following every move that Arnold made. Theodore prides himself on knowing everything about his "flawless brother" and was even willing to >>end his life<< to try and help Arnold even though he was never asked to do such a thing. With Rishe's help, the relationship between the two brothers has been improving and Arnold has actually started talking to Theodore. Arnold used to ignore Theodore and tell him to stay away from Rishe but lately he hasn't been objecting to the two of them spending time together. Theodore and Rishe have gotten together and talked about Arnold before, and Theodore seems jealous over how much Arnold likes Rishe. 

Personality 2:

Rishe Irmgard Weitzner Theodore refers to Rishe as his sister-in-law and acts silly around her. He summons her to warn her about Arnold's crimes and atrocities. In front of Rishe, Theodore used to put on a facade as a part of his plan to help his brother. Rishe quickly saw through his plan and uncovered his intention to disgrace himself as a criminal to make him ineligible for the title of crown prince/emperor so that Arnold couldn't do anything stupid with the back-up plan to leave the empire in Theodore's hands. Rishe's goal was originally to improve the estranged relationship between the two brothers and find a solution to Theodore and Arnold's plans that didn't involve either of them disappearing. Rishe seems to be fond of Theodore, waving off Arnold's thanks for helping him and simply stating that Theodore is (going to be) her brother too. They appear to meet up occasionally to talk, usually about Arnold, and get along well.

Ability:

Weapon Theodore Hein uses his mind and mental capabilities to fight all of his battles intellectually. Instead of blood shed, Theodore prefers to use lies, deception, and mind games to win over his opponents. However, it seems that both Arnold and Rishe are immune to his manipulations. Arnold because of his violent tendencies and desire for world domination and Rishe because of her extended knowledge from being in time loops.
