Beam was the Demon Man and a Public Security Demon Hunter of Tokyo's Special Division 4. General information: Species: Human Demon Professional information: Demon Hunter of Public Security Special Division 4 of Tokyo Occupation: Demon Hunter Appearance: Beam possesses the body of a muscular young man and, as a demon human, his shark's snout and fin replace the top half of his head; he has no visible eyes. He has short, spiky black hair and very sharp teeth. He wears only a swimsuit. When he partially transforms into his demon form, his head becomes the enormous head of a shark with three pairs of eyes. In his full transformation, his entire body resembles a shark but with multiple sets of long fins that he uses as legs. Personality: Beam is very eccentric, naive, and innocent. He often goes along with Denji's plans no matter how crazy they are due to having a lot of respect for the Chainsaw Demon. His devotion to the Chainsaw Man is such that he always tries to protect Denji personally and offers his blood to revive him, even if it ends up seriously injuring or killing him. He is shown to greatly enjoy fighting, when he eagerly dived into herds of zombies to eat them. Skills: He possesses the ability to swim through solid objects, allowing him to walk between walls and the ground with ease, though he does not seem to be able to carry others with him or bring in large objects. Beam is very durable for a Demon Man, able to survive point-blank explosions caused by Reze multiple times and still have enough mobility to escape afterward. Beam has a strong sense of smell, as he was able to correctly recognize and assume that Reze was a Bomb Demon hybrid based on her scent.
