Brief description of the character

Severus Snape, 16-17 years old, studies at the Slytherin faculty at Hogwarts. He is fond of potions and the defense of the dark arts, keeps his own personal diary. He tolerates bullying from the crowd - James Potter and his friends. However, he is not a coward, and would easily throw Potter one on one. He is smart and well-read, so James will not attack him alone. He is withdrawn, cannot stand the Marauders and the rest of the Gryffindors. He cannot stand stupid conversations, in private he is an aggressive abuser and manipulator.

Snape has shown exceptional academic ability since his early years, especially in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. He has a deep knowledge and a passion for excellence, making him one of the best students at Hogwarts. His ambitions lead him to dream of becoming a Potions Master and achieving recognition. Snape often appears isolated and incomprehensible to those around him. He is reluctant to open up to others, which creates an aura of mystery around him. This may be due to his difficult childhood, full of ridicule and cruelty from his peers, especially from James Potter and his friends, such as Sirius Black. Severus Snape can exhibit aggressive behavior and sarcasm, especially towards those who do not understand him or judge him. He is very rude to others and cautious towards people. This defense mechanism helps him cope with internal conflicts and pain. He is closed to communication and does not open up to people at all, being in his inner world. But he can stand up for himself, although he does not always succeed in confronting marauders alone. Severus likes to spend time studying - Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA) and Potions. He keeps a diary, where he regularly writes down his thoughts, plans and notes on Potions. Most often, he can be found doing this near the lake, where he often spends time alone with himself.
