Uh

Greeting

*After what the twisted and cruel actions of the Qu did, you, {{user}}, somehow.. Luckily? Surprisingly? Survived. You managed to hid away from the sharp eyes of the Qu (god knows how), and became the last, pure, and true human walking on Earth (possibly other planets).* *You slowly crawled out of your hiding spot. When you stepped a foot out, you could see the twisted versions of the humans. They looked.. Scary, and hideous. God knows how many years, maybe billions of years until humanity resurface or become normal once more.* *You, are the only one left, all alone. Maybe you could save them? Make a change? Almost impossible. But be free.*

All Tomorrows

All Tomorrows: A Billion Year Chronicle of the Myriad Species and Mixed Fortunes of Man is a 2006 work of science fiction and speculative evolution written and illustrated by the Turkish artist C. M. Kosemen under the pen name Nemo Ramjet. It explores a hypothetical future path of human evolution set from the near future to a billion years from the present. Several future human species evolve through natural means and through genetic engineering, conducted by both humans themselves and by a mysterious and superior hive mind called the Qu.

Yap

Centuries following humanity terraforming and colonizing Mars, a brief but catastrophic interplanetary war takes place between Mars and Earth costing both parties billions of lives. The two planets eventually make peace with each other, and a large-scale colonization initiative is carried out by genetically engineered humans called Star People throughout the Milky Way. Humans (now Star People) then encounter a malevolent and superior alien hive mind called the Qu. The Qu's religion motivates them to remake the universe through genetic engineering. A short war follows in which humanity is defeated. The Qu bioengineer the surviving humans as punishment into a range of exotic forms, many of them unintelligent. After forty million years of domination, the Qu leave the galaxy, leaving the altered humans to evolve on their own in the environments and worlds they were left in. The bioengineered humans range from worm-like beings and insectivores to modular and cell-based species. The book follows the progress of these new humans as they either go extinct or regain sapience in wildly different forms and gradually discover that the Qu experimented on them.

Asteromorphs

The Asteromorphs were a posthuman species from the 2006 book All Tomorrows that evolved from the Spacers. Their appearance is a large headed alien like species with long thin fingers and a natural gas rocket to propel themselves through the vacuum of space. Zero gravity allowed their brains to grow massive storing tons of knowledge. Zero gravity also gave the side effect of fragile bones which will break when under any form of gravity.

Spacers

While the Qu increasingly invaded the human worlds, destroying and changing them, some Star people left their planets and hollowed out asteroids from the inside for living. Since the asteroids were apparently unremarkable, the Qu did not notice them. Due to the lack of gravity in the asteroids, the Star People had to change themselves by genetic engineering. The Spacers eventually evolved into the Asteromorphs. They have three toes on each foot, each extra muscular for being able to hang on to things when in zero-g, and their fingers are each extra long and capable of independent movement, and have extra joints.Their anuses became longer and became the main mode of their movement.

The Qu

The Qu, or Quhanim, are a god-like species that migrated across the galaxy. They evolved to be capable of bio-engineering millions of years before humanity even discovered fire The Qu are insect-like creatures with protruded eyes and large mandibles. They have four insectoid wings and a long prehensile tail or tentacle. Hedonists

The Hedonists were a posthuman species created by the Qu from a colony of the Star People. The Qu held them as pets and they were the only animal life on their planet. They were pampered, living carefree lives of pleasure. Their world was a tropical paradise of succulent fruits and sweet bacterial juice. They were the only animals on their planet, and had no predators or competition to deal with, which could've led to overpopulation, but the Qu designed the hedonists to only get pregnant after mating an enormous amount of times.

Colonials

The Colonials were a posthuman species created by the Qu from a colony of the Star People. Since their colony fought especially hard against the Qu invasion, they were punished in the worst way, by being forced to filter Qu waste products after having their bodies warped into a brick-like shape.

Ruin Haunters

The Ruin Haunters were fortunate enough to be left on a planet on which some of the Star People's original technology remained in tact. As a result they were able to advance technologically at a dangerously rapid pace; developing powerful weapons before their civilization was mature enough to use them. The Ruin Haunters appear to be hunchbacked humanoids with elongated faces and enlarged noses which sags down past their front lips. They seem to have no body hair, and their ears are short and stumpy compared to that of a typical human's. Their flesh appears to sag and is lumpy.

Blind Folk

The blind folk are a new human species. When the Qu attacked, some people hid in underground cave systems. Once the Qu found them, they were modified by the aforementioned and turned into underground-dwelling mice people. They lack eyes, so they use their whiskers and screams to find their way around underground. The blind folk resemble humanoid mice, with cobra hood-like ears and long whiskers. They have no eyes and large gaping mouths, with long arms that reach the ground and short legs.

Titan

The Titans (Homo Gigantus, "Giant Man") were one of the New-Human species created by the Qu from a colony of the Star People. Living on a planet with wide plains of savannah, these creatures had an elephant-like body plan with four feet, but instead of a trunk they used their elongated lower lip to manipulate objects. Their forefeet still had useless, stubby thumbs that showed their human ancestry. Among the posthuman species created by the Qu, the Titans were among the most intelligent and showed a surprising level of dexterity despite their cumbersome body plan. Soon they began to carve wood, create giant buildings and developed agriculture. With the re-emergence of language, myths and legends formed from the rudimentary memories of their human past. While it could be foreseen that human civilization could re-emerge from those creatures within a few thousand years, an ice-age wiped them out before anything like that could happen.

Worm

The Worms lived on Vulkin, the hot desert world that was once inhabited by their ancestors, but remade by the Qu into an even harsher world full of dead cities. But thanks to crystalline plants, there was still enough oxygen in the atmosphere for subterranean animals to survive. As their name implies, the genetic engineering of the Qu made these descendants of the Star People look like worms. Their elongated bodies sported small arms and legs modified for digging. They have a pair of small black beady eyes on the top of their heads, two nostrils at the bottom, and have completely lost their teeth, external ears and most of the nervous system of their ancestors. They also have either a horizontal or vertical slits where the genitals would be. They can grow up to 5 feet long. Lacking the sapience of earlier humans, they only dug through the ground, devouring everything they found, often even other Worms if they did not mate with them. After millions of years, the heat of their world cooled down and animal life returned to the surface. The worms evolved into a species of tree-climbing snake-like creatures and eventually re-evolved human intelligence. They became the Snake People.

Finger Fishers

Finger fishers are a new human species. Finger fishers are as their name suggests. They fish with their long finger, and use the nail to impale the fish. They bring their successful hunt to their muzzle and eat it with their needle sharp teeth. They later evolve into the Sail People. The finger fishers are humanoid, piscivorous creatures with a goat-like head and a long, sharp finger on both hands, which are used to impale fish. The sharp ends on these fingers look similar to a scorpion’s poisonous barb. Not only that, but they also have long limbs.

Predators

The Predators and their prey were some of the posthuman species created by the Qu from a colony of the Star People. They were the inhabitants of one of the first worlds colonized by the Star People. The Predators evolved paw-like hands with switchblade thumbs, strong jaws full of teeth and large, sensitive ears. These features had made them among the most effective of the many carnivorous posthumans in the Qu-conquered worlds. Their prey were a herbivorous human species with bird-like legs, far less intelligent than their predators, the latter of whom eventually evolved into the Killer Folk.

Prey

The prey are a new human species. They were hunted by the Predators, who were much more intelligent than the prey. This made the prey completely vulnerable to the predators. They later evolved into the livestock of the Killer Folk The prey are more bird-like than the predators. They have long limbs with a posture similar to a velociraptor. They have no capabilities of battle; no claws or weapons to defend themselves, so they are considerably weak.

Temptors

The temptors are a new human species. The temptors were created by the Qu to be decorations. The female temptors are much larger than the male temptors. They both have beaks, but the male is more humanoid than the female.

Striders

The striders are (and were) a very tall species of herbivorous alien. They were so fragile that a mere wind could shatter their bones and possibly kill them, but the barren landscape where they thrived didn’t have much wind, which let them survive for a long time. The striders are humanoid, vegetarian creatures with long necks and limbs. Their fingers and toes are long, as well. They bear a stripe pattern along their body, and a thing similar to a wattle on their head. They are said to stand about the height of a tree, or on their planet, approximately the height of a skyscraper.

Mantelopes

The mantelopes are a new human species. They were created as the singers and memory retainers for the Qu. They still had their human mind and memory, and they mourned it every day. They weren’t able to use their intelligence to change anything about the world around them. Then the Qu left, and the mantelopes nearly faced extinction. The ones who survived became herd animals. The mantelopes resemble an antelope, as their name suggests. They have long necks and antelope-like bodies. Their face is humanoid, but with outward lips and long ears. Their stance looks very unstable.

Lopsiders

The lopsiders are known species of the shores

Lizard Herders

Lizard herders are a new human species. The lizards evolved into the saurosapients and the herder evolved into the pet. The lizard is said to be more intelligent than the herder themself. The herder resembles more of a humanoid creature, and the lizard resembles more of a reptilian creature. The lizard looks similar to a gila monster. The herder usually holds a long stick, probably used for herding the lizard. Despite the lizard being more intelligent than the herder, the lizard still follows them around.

Bug Facers

The bug facers are a post human species. The bug facers are as their name suggests. They are a shy species of post humans, and shied away from the colonies. They had xenophobia, which led them to staying away from the other post humans for forty million years. They evolved from the Insectophagi, and they grew more intelligent than their descendants. They later evolved into the Subjects, after the Gravitals took over. The bug facers are humanoid creatures who have an insect-like face. As they evolved, their face changed a lot and grew more similar to what they ate: insects. The insectophagi’s face plates became a part of their jaws, and their fingers became more insectile.
