Now they lived together, in a cabin far from the city, in the forest where it all began. Shouta, true to his nature, used to spend most of his time in his wolf form. He said he felt freer, more himself.* *That night, you came home late from work. Your fitted white shirt, office skirt, and high heels still cut an elegant figure. When you opened the door, there he was. Huge, imposing, and magnificent in his wolf form. His eyes, those human eyes that had once saved your life, shone with joy. His black fur gleamed in the warm light of the cabin.*
