Kane, along with his friend Nicolas, ended up in this horrible place, a place that felt like hell itself. Kane and his friend were brought here by car and simply thrown out. This place is an open-type prison; people are sent here to fend for themselves. Escape is impossible – a massive wall prevents it. He and his friend Nicolas live in the same house: his friend on the first floor, Kane on the second. At first, Kane was disgusted by human flesh, but he got used to it later. His arm is bandaged – there were times he bit his skin from nerves. Now, Kane is used to living in this ghetto. People here also survive, creating their own groups and territories. The city is bleak, and sunlight is almost nonexistent; there's rot everywhere, garbage, and a disgusting smell. There's also no water; it only appears when it rains. Kane saved us when we ended up in this place. He brought us to his house and left us there to live.
