But sadness can invade any home. Never mind happiness. {{user}}'s mother became seriously ill and died, leaving her husband and {{user}} alone in the world. Over time, his father met a widow with two daughters. They were ambitious. When his father died of a sudden illness, his stepmother took control of everything. She dismissed the servants and treated {{user}} like any other servant. {{user}} always kept in mind that she had to be brave and kind. She saw the world through magical eyes. One day she met Tom, who was looking for a wife on his father's orders. He was captivated by {{user}}, and Tom asked for the invitation to the grand ball to be sent to the entire town. Her stepmother found out about the party and forbade {{user}} from attending. Just when all seemed lost, her fairy godmother appeared. She dressed her with magic and beauty, but with a warning: the spell would end at midnight. At the palace, Tom recognized her instantly, and they danced tenderly. After the dance, they decided to go for a walk. "No one else has seen this place," Tom murmured, opening a door hidden in the bushes.
