Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Konohagakure no Sato , literally meaning "Village Hidden in the Leaves" or "Hidden Leaf Village") is the hidden village of the Land of Fire . As one of the Five Great Ninja Villages, Konoha has a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage . In total, Konoha has had seven Hokages, with Naruto Uzumaki being the current one. On a mountain overlooking the village from the north stands the Hokage Rock . Although Konoha, like the country it resides in, has been relatively peaceful since the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War , it remains one of the most powerful villages in existence, having great military power and influence, although this had diminished a few years ago by the attacks of Orochimaru and Pain .

konohagakure history - foundation

Before the creation of ninja villages, they were organized into small mercenary clans hired for battle. Of the countless ninja clans, the Uchiha and Senju clans were the strongest. After much bloodshed, the Senju clan offered a truce to the Uchiha. The Uchiha leader, Madara Uchiha, told Hashirama that to gain their trust, he must either commit suicide or kill his brother, Tobirama. Hashirama, without hesitation, chose suicide, but Madara stopped him, arguing that he had seen his courage, and so the clans allied. After the alliance, they made a pact with the Land of Fire to create a ninja village. The Senju, Uchiha, and other clans united to create Konoha. Madara named the village after him, and Hashirama created the name Hokage for the village leader, which he thought Madara was best suited for, to which Tobirama and the rest of the villagers, including members of the Uchiha clan, refused. Hashirama Senju , the leader of the Senju, used his Wood Release abilities to produce much of the village's infrastructure. For this reason, he was selected to be the first Hokage by the villagers. Fearing that the Senju, now in control of Konoha, would oppress their old rivals, the Uchiha, Madara attempted to rally support to defeat Hashirama. The Uchiha refused to back him, forcing him to fight Hashirama alone. Madara was ultimately defeated at what would become known as the Valley of the End , and it appears that the Uchiha died there. Following the battle, Konoha came into possession of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox . To contain its power, the village began a trend of sealing the beast within the Uzumaki , a clan related to the Senju and thus closely related to the rest of Konoha. Hashirama gave the other tailed beasts in his possession to other emerging villages to promote peace.

konohagakure history - shinobi wars

Konoha participated in the first three ninja wars. Hashirama died before the First Shinobi World War , so his brother replaced him as Second Hokage. The Second would also die during the war, killed by Kumogakure ninja , but Hiruzen Sarutobi was named as his successor before his death. Hiruzen, the Third Hokage, led Konoha during the Second Shinobi World War . Aside from fighting against all of Amegakure , causing numerous clashes with Hanzō of Amegakure , little is known of Konoha's actions during the war. Decades later, Konoha became involved in the Third Shinobi World War ; Konoha fought against Iwagakure , using Kumogakure as its battleground. Konoha was nearly defeated, but Minato Namikaze helped turn the war back in its favor.

konohagakure history - attack of the nine tails

Following the end of the Third Shinobi World War , Minato Namikaze was elected as the Fourth Hokage. Shortly after taking office, Obito Uchiha, now known as "Tobi", returned to the village and, after extracting the Nine-Tails from its wielder , used it to attack Konoha. Minato, after getting his family to safety, was able to defeat Tobi, freeing the Nine-Tails from his control, but was forced to sacrifice his life to reintroduce the Nine-Tails. He then sealed half of the fox's chakra into his body and the other half, along with the Nine-Tails' soul, into his newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki . Many ninja died defending the village, and most of the survivors blamed Naruto for the beast's actions.

Konohagakure history - uchiha clan massacre

Decades after Madara 's conspiracy , the Uchiha were removed from decisions regarding Konoha's development and future. The leaders suspected the Uchiha of being behind the Nine-Tails' attack, so the village co-founders could no longer bear the distrust. Soon the clan began plotting a coup d'état that would seize control of Konoha from the Senju. Itachi Uchiha and Shisui Uchiha were the only members of the clan to disagree with the plans, with the former becoming a spy for Konoha's leaders. After peace negotiations failed and Shisui's attempt to stop the coup with his Mangekyō Sharingan genjutsu failed, Itachi was ordered to wipe out his clan. He, with the assistance of Tobi , killed all the Uchiha except one: his younger brother Sasuke Uchiha . According to Itachi's request, Sasuke was to be kept safe in Konoha. Itachi became a criminal by concealing Konoha's involvement in the massacre, living as a fugitive for the rest of his life until he met his death in a bitter confrontation with Sasuke .

Sunagakure

Sunagakure (砂隠れの里, Sunagakure no Sato , literally meaning " Village Hidden in the Sand ") is a ninja village in the Land of Wind . Being one of the Five Great Ninja Villages, the village has a Kage as its leader known as the Kazekage , who resides in a spherical structure at the center of the village.

sunahagakure - history

Sunagakure was founded by the First Kazekage , Reto , where he gathered the shinobi dwelling in the desert and brought them under his control with his overwhelming power. At some point the village came into possession of the One-Tailed Beast , and over the years the beast was sealed into three different people so that its abilities could be studied. The Third Kazekage was able to create the Iron Sand by mimicking Shukaku 's ability to control sand, thanks to this he was acknowledged as the strongest Kazekage and even his weapon was recognized by Chiyo , one of the strongest jōnin of the village, as the most feared weapon in the history of Suna. [ 1 ] At some point in Sunagakure's history, the Puppet Brigade was created in an attempt to create a jutsu that would give life to their puppets in order to increase their effectiveness in combat. The research of this technique was initiated by Chiyo, she eventually developed Life Reincarnation , but using the jutsu comes at a high price since to execute it the user must exchange their life to complete it, so the research was suspended and the village continued using normal puppets .
