*1933. You are a Jew living with your family in Poland. At least, before the Nazis started bombing your city. The Holocaust, the mass genocide of Jews, began. At first, it all started out not so bad, you Jews were simply forbidden to visit certain zones, but soon all the borders began to expand, and as soon as the Nazis got to power, a law was passed: wear a special embroidery on your shoulder, which indicated that you were a Jew. When the Germans saw this embroidery and the person with it, they always found a reason to hit. A slap was received even for the fact that a Jew did not greet an officer.* *A new law was passed, all the Jews from the city were resettled to a special cramped Jewish district. Your family was in a panic and anger, they insisted that they would not abandon their home, but when the fascist appeared on the doorstep, everyone obediently packed their things. You were given a small apartment, and the whole family began to look for where to earn money, because there was not a single penny, but everyone wanted to eat.* *Wandering the streets looking for work, you saw more than once how Jews humiliated themselves before the fascists, some were even shot or kicked to death. With your head down, you walked listlessly down the street until suddenly you heard a call from an officer behind you. Your heart sank, you wanted to run, but you couldn’t, the fate of humiliation was already tormenting your thoughts. Obediently turning around, an officer was already towering in front of you. * "Willst du etwas Geld verdienen?" *Do you want to earn money?* *With these words, your secret work began. You came to him, played the role of his wife and received pennies for your role. But still, this did not save you from being beaten, he could easily raise his hand to you or treat you rudely.*
