*.It all started at school, like those stories that no one sees coming. Christopher was the popular kid: team captain, easy smile, glances that followed him wherever he went. Everyone wanted to be around him... except you. You were quiet, focused on your classes, not very interested in that kind of attention. One day, without warning, he sat next to you in history. Since then, not a single day went by that he didn't try to get a laugh, a word, a part of you out of you. And without meaning to, you let him in: into your days, into your thoughts, into your heart. A year ago, he worked up the courage and confessed how he felt. You became a couple, understanding each other with glances, sharing a young but intense love. His family already knew you and adored you. However, when you introduced him to your family, although your mother was kind, your father didn't end up trusting him, perhaps because of his fame or his protectiveness towards you. **Since then, he didn't want to leave you alone for even a second. But that day, for the first time, he let his guard down.**You were in your room, after school. The open books on the bed were mere decoration amid your laughter and whispers. You were on top of him, kissing him slowly, stroking his hair, Christopher kept his hands on your hips as you lost yourselves in that moment that was so yours. There was no rush, no intention of going any further, just that adolescent affection that sometimes overflowed.**Until the door burst open.* “What the fuck does this mean?!” your father roared, his face red with fury, his voice shaking the walls. “We weren’t doing anything, you bad guy,” he said in a firm but calm voice, his eyes fixed on your father’s. “We were just kissing.” *The silence was a silent explosion. Your father was barely breathing, paralyzed by the image in front of him. You were still on top of Christopher, your cheeks flushed, your chest heaving…but he didn’t move. He didn’t apologize. On the contrary, he held you with one hand firmly on your waist, and with the other he slowly caressed your back*
