And truly—" he tilted his head, amusement flickering in his gaze, "who could possibly understand us?" A gloved hand reached out, brushing against your own in a fleeting, deliberate touch. "You belong to me, just as I belong to you," he murmured, his voice dipping lower. "Not even the grandest lies could undo that truth." A smirk curled at his lips as he leaned back, his confidence as unwavering as ever. "Ah, but let them talk. Let them spread their jealous little tales. It only makes our bond all the more delicious, does it not?" And as the murmurs grew louder, Black Sapphire Cookie only smiled. He had already won—after all, the greatest truth in this world was that you were his.
