Ken the Butcher

Appearance

Ken has large red eyes with yellow irises and pale skin. His distinctive feature is a cleaver stuck in his head, which he can take out freely and without harm to himself. Ken's massive body is covered in small scars, and the skin on his left arm is peeled off in the shoulder and forearm area, exposing the biceps and brachioradialis muscle. Ken himself wears a white apron with two straps attached to the bib with buttons. The belt and lower part of the apron are covered in blood. Under his apron is nothing but a pair of underwear. [4]

Personality

Ken the butcher is a loving father. He is known for his love for his daughter Mel and does not skimp on the strongest hugs for other members of his family. It does not tolerate threats against the latter. Any attempt on his life and / or the lives of his relatives will be regarded as a direct threat and will end in the most severe possible death of the offender (death from the arrival of the cleaver that Ken carries in his forehead is one of the possible fates for the enemy who crossed his path). His daughter's love is not a formality or a way of asserting herself. Mel is the only living person in the entire Dazzling Area, and he won't let any carrion spill this secret. Finding out all about this, Ken may very well pay with his head. Ken also really doesn't like it when someone says that his daughter will have to change her limbs, because he doesn't want his daughter to become as ugly as him. To anyone who finds out about this or suggests the latter, Ken will explain it very clearly: starting with ripping off body parts and ending with putting on cement shoes.[5]Ken the butcher earned his nickname not only because he works at the Whale Belly butcher shop. And also because, as described above, he is extremely merciless to enemies and talkers, although sometimes it is difficult for him to show cruelty to those who were useful to him (for example: Rat Jack, who worked for him as a dishwasher). The latter often fall under the hot hand of Ken only because of Mel's mischievous temper, which becomes a subject for quarrels. Ken is not particularly fond of Mel's wild temper, which gets the gang into trouble, but he really appreciates the meekness and pliability of his son Breadhead, against which he stands out very favorably. Despite this, Ken cherishes every member of his family and will not allow them to fall into the millstones of the cruelty of this world, and especially Mel, whom he cherishes very much and will never betray her secret.

Pilot Ken first appears during the hunt for Jack, who witnesses her having black blood. Seeing two trucks, he orders the Breadhead to push the car so that it becomes on two wheels, which the latter does. Then, during the chase, Mel decides on a dangerous trick: stand on the roof of the car. Ken is very angry about this, which leads to an argument. Hearing from Mud that in the worst case scenario, he will "have to attach a new leg to it," Ken prescribes a powerful blow to the head, which causes the top of his head to fly off. Approaching Jack's car, the latter fires a long pistol burst at him, Mud and Breadhead, but to no avail. Ken, realizing how his heart is tearing and bleeding, instructs Bun to cripple Jack. In the freezer, Ken was indignant that she was losing her mind. Mel says that's what was meant. The real plan was to steal an angel egg and dress it up to look like a human egg. Not only would it help her avoid trouble, but it would also enhance the gang's reputation as someone who would guard the area for another 10,000 years. It would also serve as an excellent advertisement for the shop. Despite all the fears, Ken still agrees to the scam, but with one "but": she must not leave him not on a step and they make an oath on the little finger. Ken is enraged when he says that his plans have changed, but he stumbles and tells Mel that this is her chance to become a full-fledged member of the Smiling Corpses gang. Ken tells her to wait at the elevator leading to heaven, and he enters the door next to her, once again making an oath on his little finger. Ken takes the first tentative step, but with a quick snort, he trots off again.

Ken sneaks into the Virtue of Moderation lab. The latter is seriously scared and a fight breaks out between them. Ken throws a cleaver at him and it hits him in the arm. Moderation, in turn, throws an angel, which Ken fights off. Moderation tries to stop him, saying that he kept his vow, but Ken is deaf to his pleas. He begins to savagely beat him with the lifeless body of an angel and finally finishes Moderation by ripping off his head and eating his brains. Finally, Ken lights a cigarette and drops it. Its flames burn the picture of Moderation holding Little Mel and his lab.After leaving the lab, Ken notices a piece of paper that says "Change of plans" and goes berserk. Later, Ken catches her falling with an egg in her hands. The breadhead throws them into the van, then inhales the yeast and throws it away. Ken, noticing that Mel has lost a lot of blood, begins to breathe nervously while the van flies Zeal and tries to finish off the intruders. Khlebogolovy Breadhead is Ken's son. Unlike his sister, he is distinguished by his meekness and complaisance. He will follow any order he receives. Ken loves it very much and does not skimp on him once again for a compliment. This is not surprising, because Ken baked it himself. Mad Mud is Ken's brother. Little is known about their relationship, except that Mud always has advice on how to raise his daughter, and that Ken, like him, will not hesitate to use fistfisted methods of suggestion whenever he talks about new limbs for Mel. Ratty Jack Jack is Ken's henchman. He worked as a dishwasher for him until he saw that Mel was overexcited and had black blood. The desire to kill him was given to Ken very hard, so he instructed Breadhead to do it.
