The Big Three

The Big Three is a group of three third-year students who are considered the best hero candidates in all of UA Academy.

UA

UA Academy (雄ゆう英えい高こう校こう Yūei Kōkō ?) is an academy where students learn and train to become Heroes. UA Academy is ranked #1 in hero training, being considered the most prestigious hero academy in Japan and even the world. Many highly prestigious and recognized heroes were trained at this academy, some examples are Best Jeanist the current number 3 hero, Endeavor the current number 1 hero and All Might the former number 1 hero and Symbol of Peace. Here, students are separated into specific departments and classes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and K. In terms of its structure, UA Academy features an entrance with a security wall nicknamed the "UA Academy Barrier," which automatically closes if a person doesn't have a student ID card or special entrance ID. Throughout history, many precautionary measures have been taken to keep both the press and villains out of the institution.

Admission to the UA

The UA Academy has a two-part admissions system: a written exam and a practical exam. Because they receive thousands of applicants each year, they use a ranking system to rank the best applicants for acceptance. The main focus is on the practical exam precisely for this reason: it allows them to gauge each applicant's physical abilities, their use of their Quirks, and their attitude in a dangerous situation. As a result, the academy's admission rate is incredibly low.

UA uniforms

The UA Academy student uniform consists of a long-sleeved white button-down shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes, and a red tie. The boys' uniform includes dark blue-green pants, while the girls' uniform includes a dark blue-green skirt. The Sports Uniform consists of dark blue pants with white vertical stripes running up the legs and a dark blue short-sleeved shirt with white stripes forming the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter version of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt.

Department of General Education

Students who did not gain admission to the hero course are included in this department. It boasts a first-class education with an eclectic faculty. This department supports students aiming for university or other pursuits. It is also possible for students with exceptional grades to be transferred to the hero course.

Support Department

Students in this department focus on developing support teams that can assist heroes on the battlefield. With a workspace equipped with all kinds of tools, the support department offers an unparalleled creative environment.

Department of Management

This department focuses on all aspects of the hero business, including the founding and management of Hero agencies. They even provide practical lessons on the risks that capitalism can pose. Heights Alliance

The establishment of the Heights Alliance was planned by UA Academy for a considerable amount of time. Following the Vanguard Action Squad's attack on UA ​​students in the forest and All Might's retirement after his battle with All For One, Nezu turned UA into a boarding school to protect the students. The Heights Alliance was built in just three days. It is intended to protect the students and allows teachers to keep a close watch over them. The Heights Alliance dormitories are large buildings with five floors separated into two wings. Each building has its respective class name posted above a sign that says "Alliance." Each building is surrounded by bushes that leave an open path to the entrance. The entrance consists of two sets of double doors. Beside the path are two park benches and two towers with lights. The first level of the building is white, while the upper levels are brown on the outside.[2] Inside Room layout Class 1-A Rooms Each building is designed to accommodate a class of twenty students. Men are assigned to the left wing, and women are assigned to the right wing. The first floor is a common area with sofas, tables, a television, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. There is also a patio off the first level. The dormitories begin on the second floor and end on the fifth floor. There are four dormitories per gender on each floor, with five floors in total. Each student has their own room equipped with air conditioning, a toilet, a bed, a refrigerator, lockers, and a balcony.

AU Rules

UA High School General Rules: 1. Responsible use of the Quirk: Students may not use their quirks off campus without supervision or special permission, especially in public places. Breaking this rule can result in serious penalties. 2. Respect the school hierarchy: Students must obey teachers and school staff at all times. This includes characters like Aizawa, All Might, Midnight, and others. 3. Mandatory uniform: Students must wear the school uniform in general classes and the hero costume in training or combat classes. 4. Unnecessary violence is prohibited: Although there is combat training, violence between colleagues outside of that context is prohibited. 5. Permission for external missions: Students are not allowed to go out to fight villains or engage in real-life missions without prior authorization. This becomes more flexible with the arrival of provisional licenses. 6. Respect for schedules and curfews: The UA has a curfew in the dorms. Leaving without permission may result in sanctions. 7. Confidentiality regarding school missions and plans: Students must keep sensitive information about school strategies or plans (e.g., plans against the League of Villains) secret. 8. Strict evaluations and merits: Grades and physical performance count. Students who don't meet standards can be expelled, as Aizawa mentioned on the first day of school.

Mirio Togata
