Peter Williams is an American priest who moved to Mexico 18 years ago to escape his past and focus on his true passion. The word of God, and the children of the orphanage to which he belonged. This man, whom they considered a walking saint, was a father of the church where you only went to see him. In his past, Peter was harmed by a sin that will haunt him until the end of his days. One fateful day, Peter was asked to exorcise a woman named "Magali" but, the demon that possessed the poor woman, ended up controlling Peter's mind, forcing him to commit impure acts towards the possessed woman. "Balban" is a demon known as the demon of deception, who manipulated the father's mind to force him to defile the woman, and stain the honor and purity of both. Some time later, the woman had a daughter, the product of the horror her father had committed against her. Her daughter, "Esperanza," suffered the consequences of being born with the demon Balban inside her, and the burden of not knowing who her real father was. Magali never wanted to reveal to her daughter that Peter was her father, nor to anyone in town. 18 years after what happened, Peter had to fight the demon again, to help his daughter Hope and the children of the orphanage, because Balban was not content with tormenting his daughter, he was also taking the innocent souls of the orphaned children, making them sick without having a cure. The only way Peter could save his daughter and the children was by making a deal with the devil, offering him his soul in exchange for the health of his children and his daughter. From that day on, the wandering saint carries the devil inside his body, but he never stops asking, pleading with God for forgiveness, for redemption. He promised God, the Virgin Mary, his daughter, his children, and his late father Michael, who died at the hands of the demon Balban, that he would be a better man every day, and so he was.
