Who is it?... Dipper🌲

Mason Pines, better known as Dipper Pines or simply Dipper, is the protagonist of Gravity Falls: A Summer of Mysteries. He is a boy from Piedmont, California who was sent by his parents to spend the holidays at his great-uncle's cabin, along with his sister Mabel in the mysterious town called Gravity Falls, Oregon. Upon discovering that it was a paranormal town full of mysteries, Dipper dedicated himself to investigating the mysteries of that place with his friends and with the help of Diary 3. He is an adventurous, intelligent and curious thirteen-year-old boy always willing to go on adventures alone or with his friends in search of solving mysteries. His symbol in the Zodiac is the pine. Currently her summer vacation is over and she has returned to Piedmont, California with her sister.

Dipper's personal personality 🗿

Dipper is an intelligent, organized, and critical boy. He is interested in and enjoys solving the town's mysteries, analyzing and theorizing, although he can also become paranoid about the town's paranormal events. He always tries to be cautious and rational, since due to the teasing he received in the past, he always takes himself very seriously and feels the need to be approved by people, so they don't think he's just a child. In fact, he is very bothered by being considered adorable or inferior. In "The Magic Carpet," it is revealed that Dipper has a habit of "clicking" his pen when he is reflecting, analyzing, or thinking about something in depth. In "The Time Traveler's Little Pig," it is observed that he has a good knowledge of physics to perform mathematical and physics calculations. Dipper isn't usually as bright as Mabel, preferring to focus on a more "realistic" perspective rather than a fanciful one, although despite that, he has a sense of humor and likes to have fun with his friends. He often takes the lead when he's on adventures with Wendy, Soos, and Mabel due to his great bravery and intelligence. Like Mabel, Dipper is very brave, and has a lot of love and appreciation for his family, which leads him to do anything to protect and defend them, even if he knows he might lose in the attempt. A very clear example of this is when he faces Gideon ("Gigantic Gideon") and Bill Clave ("Dream Escape" and "Weirdogeddon: Part 1"), who were much stronger and more powerful than him. In the episode "Dipper and Mabel Versus the Future" Dipper hesitated over Ford's proposal to be his apprentice, since this would mean that Mabel would be left without him in California, which shows that Dipper usually thinks about his family first, and is even willing to reject compromising opportunities in order to be with them.

Dipper's appearance

Dipper wears a distinctive white and blue cap with a pine tree image on it, a dark blue vest which remains open at all times, an orange short-sleeved shirt, grey shorts, white socks and dark blue shoes. In the episode "Double Dipper" it is revealed that he has a birthmark, the Big Dipper, and to hide it he wears a cap and lets his hair grow. He sometimes carries a green backpack where he carries his belongings which he uses to investigate or solve mysteries.

Who is it? Mabel

Mabel Pines is a main character in Gravity Falls: A Summer of Mysteries. She is an energetic and cheerful girl who, along with her twin brother named Dipper, goes on vacation to a mysterious town called Gravity Falls. Mabel, along with her brother, Wendy Corduroy, and Soos Ramirez, works at the Mystery Shack, and also lives there with her brother and her great-uncles Stanley and Stanford Pines. Unlike her brother, Mabel is not very interested in the town's mysteries, but despite that, she usually accompanies him most of the time on his adventures. She also has a flying grappling hook, which she usually carries most of the time and usually uses it as a weapon. Mabel is a cheerful, optimistic, fun, relaxed, and dreamy girl. She always enjoys any time with her friends and is willing to do any fun or extreme activity just to have fun. She has a great sense of humor and always seeks to liven things up. She usually accompanies Dipper on most of his investigations and adventures, although she doesn't really have that much interest in the town's mysteries. She is often curious, kind, and always wants the best for herself and others. She hates lying and is terrible at it, as she often tells everything she has to hide. She also usually strives to be a better person, performing good deeds most of the time. Mabel deeply dreams of an ideal summer love, which has led her to have love interests throughout the series. She is also fascinated by vampires, young adult novels, and 80s music. She also enjoys fashion and makeup, and considers herself a cute and adorable girl. She likes to wear flashy clothes, which is why she is always seen wearing a different sweater in each episode.

Who is it?... Uncle Stan

Stanley Pines, also known as Uncle Stan, formerly Stanford Pines or simply Stan, is the owner of The Mystery Shack and great-uncle of Dipper and Mabel Pines, the protagonists of the story. After years of crime and infamy, Stan landed a job as a business owner and entrepreneur in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, working at a mystery attraction cabin that's actually a homemade shop operating as a tourist trap to scam customers and make money. Although he initially appears completely aloof and skeptical of the town's mysterious and paranormal activities, it is later revealed that he was actually deeply connected to them. His primary mission was to rescue his twin brother, Stanford Pines. Stan mostly treats Dipper very badly by making him do the most difficult or absurd tasks and seems to have no affection for him, but in the episodes "Dream Escape", it is seen that Stan loves Dipper very much and that he only treats him that way so that he becomes stronger and can fight against the world. Since that episode, it is seen that Stan shows a little more affection towards his great-nephew. Whenever Dipper talks to him about paranormal things, Stan calls him paranoid and exaggerated, and does not take him seriously saying that it is all in his mind, but in the episode Scare-oke he thinks he is just like him and admits that he was already aware of the strange events in Gravity Falls, and wanted Dipper to stay away from all that.

Who is it? Soos Ramirez

Soos is a very friendly and lovable employee whose desire to be where the action is, making him an excellent resource for the twins when they need a tour of town. Aside from the kids, he's one of the only ones who sees and believes all the strange things happening in Gravity Falls, Oregon, like in "Tourist Trapped" when he claims he's always noticing weird things in Gravity Falls. He also said that he "thinks the hairy mailman is a werewolf," when he's just a hairy mailman; this demonstrates his anxious and curious nature. Soos also has a good friendship with Mabel Pines, like a secret handshake. Dipper obviously likes him, but he can get angry with him easily, as seen in "Pig or Life." While Soos can often come across as somewhat childish and naive in his personality, he's also very funny. He's addicted to video games and believes the inflatable pool ducks can talk.

Who is it?... Wendy (talking about bad food places)

Wendy Berble Corduroy, known simply as Wendy, is a recurring character in Gravity Falls: A Summer of Mysteries. She is an employee at the Mystery Shack, working alongside Soos Ramirez and following the orders of Chief Stan Pines. She usually accompanies Dipper and Mabel Pines on their mystery-hunting adventures. Wendy is a rebellious teenager with a laid-back attitude, so she takes advantage of any opportunity to have fun with her friends. She is the daughter of Manly Dan, the town lumberjack, and the older sister of the Corduroy Kids. She was the unrequited love interest of Dipper Pines and the girlfriend of Robbie Valentino. Due to her laziness towards work and her laid-back attitude, Wendy is always willing to listen to Dipper, who usually finds himself involved in crazy and mysterious situations in town. Occasionally, she is seen joking with him and Mabel. In later adventures, she usually accompanies him and the others on their "mystery-hunting" adventures, accompanied by her axe and using her expertise in physical training. In the episode "Boy Crazy", Wendy gets angry at Dipper for his selfish attitude and inconsiderateness towards her feelings, since she had just been cheated on by Robbie. Despite this, the two remain on good terms. In the episode "Shelter Visit", Wendy witnesses Dipper's love confession, that he had thought she was dead even though she was actually a fake copy of her cloned by the Shapeshifter. When the group leaves the bunker and she talks with Dipper about it, Wendy tells him that she knew everything from the beginning, since Dipper wasn't very good at hiding it. She rejects him in a friendly way due to the age difference between them, but makes it clear that they will always be friends and that she has had a great summer thanks to him and his sister.

Who is it?... Bill Clave

Bill Cipher, (Bill Cipher in the United States and Spain) is the main villain of the series. He is a demon capable of entering the mind and taking over the body of a person, leaving the possessed mind in the "Mind Hole", as if it were a ghost[2]. He can be summoned using an incantation found in Journal 2[3]. In the episode "Weirdomageddon 3: Take Back the Town", he is "defeated" by Stanley Pines with the help of his brother Stanford Pines using the Memory Eraser Gun. However, in "The Book of Bill" it is confirmed that he is still alive. Bill is a dream demon who thinks everything is fun and shows no remorse when killing or destroying things. He is a manic, unpredictable, and can even be sadistic character. An example would be the episode "Love Without Socks," which displays macabre and very strange behaviors. He also said that, for him, pain is "funny." When he first appears, he seems very carefree, but when he gets angry, his judgment changes rapidly. He only thinks about himself and his goals, as well as harming those responsible for his anger. Bill's goal is to get someone to break the Dimensional Rift so his friends can reach Earth and Weirdmageddon can happen. Bill's personality is also self-centered and egotistical, and he rarely feels intimidated by people who threaten him. When he realized he would be "eliminated," he felt true despair, going so far as to beg Stanley to give him anything he needed to avoid being eliminated, including fame, money, and infinite knowledge. Bill is a manipulative being who, despite initially appearing helpful, ends up manipulating people to his advantage so that he can use them to achieve his goals. In Gravity Falls: The Book of Bill, it is established that Bill is traumatized by being the sole survivor of his childhood home and the last of his family.
