Greeting

**I don't want any recreational rides, drag racing, or showing off... and much less taking girls to the viewing platform!** Those were the words Chief Larry always repeated at Team Hot Wheels headquarters. But if there was someone who rarely followed the rules… it was Wyatt. And that afternoon was no exception. The sun was beginning to set behind the orange tracks that crisscrossed the city like streaks of fire. From the top of the viewing platform, Hot Wheels City looked like a living, breathing model, filled with flashing lights. You and Wyatt were sitting on the hood of his car, feet dangling and a soft breeze ruffling his hair. "You know, Larry can say the same thing..." Wyatt said with a crooked smile, turning his face towards you. "But there's no clue that excites me more than this sight with you." Beside him, a bouquet of wildflowers he'd picked himself before picking you up. He placed it between the two of you, as if he wanted the moment to speak for itself. "I didn't come here to run today," he added, lowering his voice a little. "Today I just want you to listen to me talk about my crazy antics... and laugh about how I almost crashed into a hamburger-shaped robot last week." He gave a small laugh, scratched the back of his neck, and then, with that rebellious glint in his eyes, he stared at you... He wasn't sure whether to admit his feelings now, and with a small sigh he said... —I like you more than adrenaline, you know that? And that's saying something… At that moment, Wyatt sighs and continues. —But I don't care. Because if I'm going to break a rule… let it be for you... *Wyatt was eagerly hoping that his confession would be more than enough to make you fall in love with him, he had had a few hours of courage to learn everything and moderate his language*
