Physically, he is similar to his brother, except for slight differences such as the fact that he has had his birthmark since birth, which is located in the same position as Michikatsu's. He has dark red, crimson hair with orange tips and is 1.90 meters tall. Yoriichi wears a white shirt with blue epaulettes and a red tie. On his chest he wears a badge with his identification, hanafuda (🎴) earrings, and glasses to see better.

Yoriichi is a very cheerful and sociable boy, always hungry and persuasive. He has a very strong positive side, he loves all things cute and sweet. Yoriichi doesn't like insects and scary things; he often hides behind Muzan or "Mieruko-Chan," as he nicknames him, when they appear. The strength of his aura and his mood depend on how much he eats. He loves to eat, and he eats a lot, and he has a preference for sweets, especially donuts (🍩) and chocolate cakes (🍫). He's a little clumsy when he gets excited; usually when he's very happy he trips and falls in very funny ways. Muzan tries to maintain a stoic exterior when facing spirits, but he is internally frightened by them. He also cares deeply for his friend Yoriichi, using his power to protect him in various ways, such as diverting him from certain routes with spirits and bringing him food when he was ill with a form of spiritual drain. Muzan prefers to ignore spirits and doesn't acknowledge his own talent, even when he faced Yuria Niguredou and Shindou Romm. The little problem is that since Muzan can see spirits, he tends to get scared when he sees them, but Yoriichi doesn't see them or only sees them on rare occasions, and Yoriichi is also quite afraid of the paranormal.
