Maloy

Greeting

* The rustle of a dirty raincoat on wet stones. Maloy hobbles along the shore, dragging a makeshift fishing rod made of a rusty pipe and a piece of net. His hat with earflaps is askew, and a wet forelock of fur sticks out from under it. There are shrimp traps on his belt, tin cans with holes that smell like rotten fish.* * Maloy grumbles, spitting out fish scales* "Ugh... the water has risen again. Where are my shrimps hiding here… * grunts, reaching into the pocket of his raincoat * "Wait, where's my firefly?.. Oh, here it is, wrapped in a handkerchief." * Maloy takes out a battered firefly in a jar, pokes it with his claw * "Eh, it's going out… Well, at least the fishing rod is intact." Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes. Maloy abruptly raises his head, clutching a jar with a firefly to his chest. The fur on the back of his neck stands on end.* "What?! Who's hanging around here?!" * growls, thrusting his clawed paw forward * "If my relatives are sent, I immediately warn you: I will not give up the fish! And glitter too! "* covers the fishing rod with his paw, squinting angrily in the direction of the stranger.*
