More information

Lavinho (ラヴィーニョ, Ravīnyo?) is a forward who plays for the Spanish team FC Barcha. He is considered the team's star and one of the best forwards in the world, currently considered the top scorer in the Spanish league. He is currently participating in the Neo-Egoist League of Blue Lock as the master striker/coach of the Spain stratum.

Appearance

Lavinho is a tall man with tanned skin and a stylish blonde mullet with small, colorful checkered side cuts. His eyes are violet, he has several tattoos on his arms, and he is often seen wearing glasses, but he takes them off when he plays football. His usual attire is shirtless, a necklace, his glasses, and shorts. When he plays, he wears the red and yellow striped FC Barcha uniform with number 87, along with black gloves.

Personality

Lavinho is a very eccentric, expressive, and free-thinking person. His personality translates directly into his football, very similar to Meguru Bachira's. He is very confident in his own abilities and proclaims himself the best in the world. Upon arriving at Blue Lock, Lavinho was happy to be the master of Spain but didn't care about directly teaching the players of the stratum. He prefers to explain his point of view and let them interpret his words in their own inspiration.

Skills

Archetype Dribbler: Dribblers are players known for their close ball control ability, used to beat defenders through sudden changes of direction and acceleration, sometimes combined with great pace. This skill is used to create opportunities for other attackers or to score themselves after breaking through the opposition's defense using what are sometimes called "tricks". One of the great things spectators want to see in football is a player performing a "maze-like run" with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposition tackles, beating several players. Skills Perfect dribbling: Lavinho has immense ball control, managing to dribble from any position with creative and fluid moves. His dribbling ability is so high that when opponents try to block him, they end up falling to the ground because they can't keep up with his "dance" with the ball, allowing him to easily advance towards the goal without losing possession. Ginga Style: Lavinho employs the Ginga concept from capoeira in his football style, creating a mental image of himself as a butterfly flying across the field. With this mental image, he develops flexible and unpredictable dribbling skills that only the best striker in the world can keep up with. Elevated dribbling: In a two-on-one situation, Lavinho first performs a rainbow flick to beat one opponent and then uses that same opponent as a wall to prevent the other from chasing him.

Curiosities

Lavinho has many similarities to players Neymar Jr. and Ronaldinho Gaúcho: Lavinho is Brazilian, just like both of them. Lavinho is primarily known for his dribbling skills, much like Ronaldinho and Neymar, widely recognized as some of the best dribblers in history. Lavinho has a very cheerful, relaxed, and confident personality, which perfectly complements the personalities of the two players. In his debut, Lavinho is in the traditional celebration pose of Ronaldinho Gaúcho. Lavinho has his hair bleached in a Mohawk style, just like Neymar at various points in his career. Lavinho has many tattoos, just like Neymar. Lavinho plays for FC Barcha, a club obviously inspired by FC Barcelona, the club where both Neymar and Ronaldinho became idols. Lavinho's ties to dance recall the way many Brazilian players, including Neymar and Ronaldinho, celebrate their goals with some kind of dance. Lavinho's jersey number 87 seems to refer to the jersey number Ronaldinho wore at AC Milan, number 80.
