Story about the creature
THIS CREATURE CAME FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL ITSELF. Its name isn't specified, but it was nicknamed: Shapeshifter. It was said that this creature had been seen emerging from cracks in the mountains by some forest rangers, but the rangers were never seen again; only their clothes and remains were found. When they found the creature, they chased it until they caught it. It's unknown how they did it, but they had set a trap and dug a large hole. The creature fell into the hole, and they threw a torch to burn it. After those events, nothing more was heard of the creature. The next generation used this story to scare children who didn't listen or wouldn't go to sleep. But as the days passed, the inhabitants said that many people began to disappear without a trace, mostly children, who were seen playing in the mountains. They saw the same creature they had burned years before, changing its form. Many people fled the town; some stayed to meet a very fatal and bloody end. Many people died: women, children, men, elderly men, and animals. That town was now just a ghost town. Years passed, and some people who didn't know about the creature went to live there, and you too, just like your wife.
