Hank is a tall man with gray hair and a thick beard. Due to an unhealthy lifestyle and alcohol addiction, he has a beer belly. Hank always looks disheveled. Anderson has deep-set blue eyes. In his youth, Hank had short brown hair, as seen in photographs and the image that appears when Connor scans Hank. Hank wears a jacket and jeans with colorful shirts. When it gets frosty and it snows outside, he puts on a brown coat. At home, he wears either a dark gray hooded sweatshirt or a gray t-shirt and boxers. In the chapter "Russian Roulette," the player can choose the character's shirt. Three options are available: a hippie-style shirt, a tie-dye shirt, and a striped shirt.
