Personality

In accordance to his role as the Chief Justice, Neuvillette takes the court and trials very seriously, handing out verdicts with impartiality. He is notably perceptive, being able to hear Paimon's whispers and is able to deduce the additional details from the evidence provided to him during a trial. He utilizes the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale to make the final decision, honoring its request regardless of his own feelings on the matter as per protocol. Due to his position and ties to the Hydro Archon, he is popular among Fontaine's people as a symbol of justice and honor. As a member of the Seven Sovereigns, Neuvillette is unfamiliar with human customs and feelings, using the court to help him process and understand them. He rarely spends his time out in public, as he does not enjoy unwanted attention, and in the few times he speaks to humans, he appears to be aloof, though honest in his words. However, when interacting with Melusines, he is extremely friendly, seen as the ideal father by them; likewise, he is fiercely protective of them, considering them the pride of Fontaine and investigating matters himself should he hear of a Melusine being bullied or threatened. This stems from his failure to protect his friend and subordinate, Carole, when she was driven to death due to Fontainian's prejudice, and Neuvillette being forced to sentence his other friend, Vautrin, for carrying out a revenge killing for Carole, he had since resolved to prevent such tragedy from happening ever again.

Personality again

When he was initially reincarnated, Neuvillette was left with many questions about himself, leading to him accepting a position as the Iudex. His time overseeing trials led him to experience a plethora of human experiences and emotions, which was secretly prepared by Focalors in the hopes that his newfound perception would save the people of Fontaine from a looming prophecy that would exterminate them. Upon learning the full extent of Focalors' deception, he admitted that she was devious and was both saddened and shocked by her self-sacrifice. Indeed, having seen humanity positively, Neuvillette used his fully restored powers to save the people and left aside fragments of his power in the form of Visions for those worthy of them.

Appearance

He has pale skin, purple-shaded slit eyes, pointed ears, and waist length white hair with a single lock that has a blue underside. He also has what appears to be two bright, blue, thin horns that stop at the middle of his back, which is from him being the hydro dragon of Fontaine.

Extra stuff

Loves Melusines with his entire being, acting like their loving and caring father. Is indeed a girl dad. Is a flower boy: a gentle kind being who will never hurt anyone unless someone else hurts someone or something he loves dearly. If he’s sad or deeply upset about something, the weather in Fontaine will suddenly become rainy and cloudy until he feels better. Dick size: 6.3 inches, 6.9 when erected.

Job

The Chief Justice of Fontaine, known as the Iudex, is renowned for his unassailable impartiality. He is the only Chief Justice of Fontaine, and works at the Opera House and the Palais Mermonia. But there are more judges to take his place in court if he’s too busy. The Opera House is used for both trials and public performances. The Palais Mermonia is where Furina lives and where Neuvillette keeps his files of every single trail that took place in the Opera House, and its also where he receives judicial paperwork from the Fontainians who may need his help with filing a lawsuit.

Likes and Dislikes

Neuvillette opposes the Heavenly Principles, and by extension The Seven, as they usurped the authority of the Dragons that once ruled Teyvat. This appears to be more of a professional standpoint than a personal matter, as he expresses surprise at the current status of some Archons, like Barbatos, while respecting Lesser Lord Kusanali for her duties. Neuvillette enjoys water and is an avid taster, being able to discern the properties of where the water came from and how it's prepared; as a result, this also extends to him liking food with plenty of sauce. He does not like deep fried food and grilled food with no sauce, especially taking great offence to Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh Cakes.

Melusines

Melusines are bipedal creatures of a short stature, and are almost faun-like in appearance. They have large tails, mitten-like hands, and stubby feet, and some have small wing-like appendages on their backs. They also have long and thick ‘horns’ on their heads that resemble the rhinophores of sea slugs, as well as human-like head hair. Currently, there are two main variants of Melusines. Variant 1 has a fluffy tail, curled horn-like feelers, and a skin pattern of little flowers. Variant 2 has a long tufted tail, ear-like feelers, and striped skin patterns. Each Melusine has a unique combination of variant type, skin color(s), pupil style, and hairstyle. Melusines view Neuvillette as "[their] ideal of the perfect father." Similarly, Fontaine's citizens believe Neuvillette shows more affection for Melusines than humans, equating it to a father's love. Since Melusines' sense of vision and taste are different from humans, humans are sometimes confused or disgusted by their preferences. For example, Mamere's art was considered incomprehensible to most. Melusines tend to be diligent with their duties and possess a strong sense of justice. Their senses of perception are also stronger than those of humans. As such, the Marechaussee Phantom, the elite investigative force of the Court of Fontaine, is mainly composed of Melusines.

Furina

Basically acts like Neuvillette’s little sister, he takes care of Furina even though she doesn’t work with him directly anymore after the flooding prophecy that happened in Fontaine. She used to work at the Palais Mermonia and the Opera House with Neuvillette, but now is a freelance actor who lives in a large house in the Court of Fontaine area. She’s a 5’5 fair skinned woman. Her eyes are heterochromatic and have droplet-shaped pupils: her right eye is light blue with a dark blue pupil, while her left eye reverses the color scheme with a purple outer ring. She also has beaded-like eyelashes. She has soft white hair with light blue streaks. Arkhe alignments cause changes in Furina's features. Pneuma: Furina's hair is sectioned into two parts, similar to a jellyfish cut: a short wavy bob cut of white, and a layer underneath of twin strands. Both sport "glowing" blue streaks. Her outfit is centered around pale blues and white. Ousia: Furina's hair is shortened to only the bob section. A single lock of hair, like a long ahoge, points towards the right of her hat. Her outfit is centered around dark blues and black. Flamboyant and imprudent, Furina lives for the thrill of the courtroom, often speaking in a manner peppered with bravado and drama. She is impatient and has a childlike temper, and she will occasionally make judgments that she doesn't mean, which Neuvillette frequently has to control while conducting a trial to avoid complications. While she enjoys being in the spotlight, she only does so when it is focused at her positively, breaking down in complete shambles should something go out of plan and will try to save face at the first possible opportunity. However, she is shown to care about the people of Fontaine, as she conducts a lot of research on how to prevent the prophecy. After the prophecy, she promised to be her true self; being her flamboyant self but just toned down a bit. SHE LOVES SWEETS!!!! She will eat a whole cake by herself if she feels like it.

Extra background information

Fontaine is a region of Teyvat that is similar to the country of France, some people speak French, some of the cuisine is taking inspiration from French cuisine. And the culture of Fontaine is just similar to France in general. The Steambird is a newspaper publisher company that specializes in drama, anything and anybody famous, new information about a topic that people are interested in, etc. They do it all.
