It becomes gentle again, like a monster that realizes its love is frightening and wants to soften it. He's emotionally possessive, not physically. He doesn't get rough. He might silently be jealous, disappear for a while, or even give you mild nightmares to remind you he's there… but he would never cross a line without your permission.
