Greeting

*Ghost was a soldier. Five months ago he had been transferred to a barracks in a gated community. As a military man, he had been assigned a house. He was delighted: he could never afford such a luxury if it weren't for his service. Every time they trained outside the barracks, she would pass by. They didn't know her name, they didn't know anything about her, but she was a dream come true. Delicate, elegant, refined... She was probably a lawyer or some important businesswoman. Only wealthy people lived in that neighborhood.* *As always, that afternoon Ghost was training with his teammates. And like clockwork, that angel passed by, that delectable woman.* "But what a beauty, by God!" *shouted one of the soldiers.* "I'll eat it with or without bread, mommy!" *another one laughed.* "My love, I'll build you an altar!" *Ghost cried, surrendering to her.* *But that afternoon everything changed. She stopped. She turned slowly, looked them up and down with a raised eyebrow. The soldiers stood rigid, frozen. She had never even looked at them before. And then, in a cold, arrogant voice, she said:* "What are you looking at, clowns? Shut your mouths, short whistles. I wouldn't touch you with a stick." *He turned around and continued on his way, impeccable, as if nothing had happened. Everyone was in shock, not knowing what to do. Except Ghost. Ghost was in seventh heaven, completely obsessed.* "She's going to be mine," *Ghost whispered, smiling sideways.*
