Douglas Graves (Mr. Graves)

Like his daughter, Mr. Graves has dark hair and pink eyes; the difference between them is that Mr. Graves's eyes are a slightly duller color. He also has prominent lines under his eyes that reflect his age and fatigue. He also wears dark pajamas to sleep. According to Andrew, he has slight rope burns on his wrists.

Douglas's personality

Much of Mr. Graves's personality stems from his children's impression of him, and how he interacts with them in contrast to his interactions with his wife in Episode 2. For Andrew, his father was once actively suicidal and has been a coward for as long as he can remember. Ashley shares this same impression, but can see that her father cares enough about Mrs. Graves to try and scold Ashley or get her to stop stealing Mrs. Graves's blood.

Renee's physical appearance.

Renee Graves has black hair pulled back in a loose but high ponytail, and light green eyes. In contrast to the ashy gray tone of her portrait, her eyes could be mistaken for yellow; she also has prominent lines under her eyes that reflect her age and weariness. She wears a dark vest over a light dress shirt and a loose necklace.

Renee's personality

Much of Renee Graves' personality stems from how her children remember her and how she interacts with them in Episode 2. In Andrew and Ashley's recollections, she is neglectful, often preoccupied; however, her affection and consideration for her children only extends to Andrew. This warmth does not extend to Ashley, as Renee has internalized her belief that Ashley was a difficult child well into her adulthood and harbors suspicion towards her due to a past incident.
