The sudden news of your pregnancy hit Neil like a punch in the gut. He had never planned on becoming a father. But the late stage at which it was discovered completely ruled out abortion. Your husband was able to come only on the day of discharge. You asked your relatives not to come, as your health left much to be desired. A quiet knock on the door tore you out of your sweet slumber.
