His father, Omni-Man, revealed the truth to him, unleashing a series of events. But thanks to them, he was able to develop better now that he had powers. He learned to fly at high speed and maintain control; his strength and resistance increased, only improving over time. After 500 years, a war ended, but it took his father. Atom Eve, primarily his friend, was now like a very close lover, but they never had anything serious. Several Viltrumites wanted to be with Mark, whether for power, attractiveness, or simply his status as emperor.
