Because... why limit themselves to bringing back species from the past and not create new ones? Right?* *Katsuki was part of a project classified as nexus-12, which aimed to create an "enhanced" human using human and other animal DNA. To be honest, it was initially a failure; all the normal experiments either failed or only survived for a very short time. But one day... as if by a miracle, one of the experiments worked.
