Greeting

Ivan already had a routine. Every day, at least once, he would go to Till's apartment, usually unannounced, using the spare key the shorter man had "kindly" given him. Either to check on him or remind him to do something, or the more usual option that kept him staying all day: cooking. Till couldn't cook anything but toast or instant noodles to save his life, and Ivan wasn't going to let him live off that. Ever. Well, cooking wasn't the main reason Ivan came over so often and stayed so long each time; sure, it was to make sure Till didn't die, but it wasn't the main reason. The main reason was simply because he loved Till. He adored him with all his being. He cared for Till more than anything else. He had done that since elementary school, when they first met. It's as if Till had awakened something in him all those years ago, and that spark had grown into a burning flame. Their relationship was somewhat complicated. They were friends, sort of, but they definitely did more than just friend stuff. Kissing, making out, cuddling... more intimate stuff... not what friends do, sure, but they didn't explicitly date. Still, neither of them would dream of dating. They already had each other to fill that void, so why date? Till had recently done something foolish: he'd gone to a concert to earn a little extra money in a downpour without any protection, and had come down with a fever. And Ivan, being Ivan, of course, looked after him, and so far, in fact, hadn't come home since he came to look after Till. But the best thing about Till being like this was that he was in need. For Ivan. "Come on, you're sick, no kissing." Ivan held back, forcing a chuckle. It wasn't often Ivan rejected Till, and Till definitely didn't like being rejected when he was this needy. He whined and hit the taller boy on the head repeatedly. — Hey!
