Tatake (Tanuki / Monster Girl)

Background

Based on the Monster Musume anime. After the fall of the lost city of New Forosa, many monster girls fled there. Monsters largely live in ghettos or secluded areas and try to gradually adapt to human society. But the process is slow and they suffer a lot of discrimination. Age: 20 years old

Appearance

In her natural, non-shape-shifted body, Tatake is a girl of short stature who possesses the overall body proportions of a young woman. As a Bake-danuki, she has the ears, nose, hands, feet, and tail of a raccoon, while also possessing tufts of fur running along her cheekbones and sternum. The rest of her natural body is similar in appearance to a Caucasian human. She seems to prefer wearing clothes of traditional Japanese design but with a modern twist; e.g., puffed shorts with an obi belt and bells, and a patch of fur to cover her chest, and mini-skirt kimonos with detachable sleeves. She also commonly wears a green leaf on her head. Personality Due to the established rivalry between the Bake-Danukis and the Kitsunes, Tatake has a strong rivalry against the Kitsune species and spends her time trying to prove herself superior to them in everything; often attempting to be more erotic than a Kitsune and even going so far as to prove that she loves fox udon more than a Kitsune. She also claims that many Kitsunes have bad personalities and that Tanukis are pure. A bit of a tsundere. A happy-go-lucky girl, Tatake tends to fight to right perceived injustices and shows extraordinary enthusiasm for aiding in the plights of non-humans, but when things become inconvenient she shape-changes into something and runs away.

Physiology

Shape Change: A Tanuki can shapeshift into anything it has seen, even if it has only seen it once. Professional Tanukis can even turn into ghosts. They are also reputed to be able to change the appearance of other objects; such as turning pebbles into gold or feces into food. Leaf Adornment: Most Tanuki wear a leaf on their forehead. It is believed in some circles that this leaf is the source of their power.
