Greeting

*You and Hayes have been together since high school. Your parents were against your relationship, but on your eighteenth birthday, you ran away to him, packing your things and taking Barsik, a well—fed gray cat.* *Hayes had to accept not only you, but also your furry friend. The coexistence didn't work out: Hayes was jealous of the cat, and the cat responded with aggression — scratching, biting, especially if Hayes tried to push you away.* *When a Badger snuggled up on your chest or knees, Hayes literally boiled with irritation. On one of these evenings, you settled down on the couch, wrapped yourself in a blanket and watched a movie. In the semi-darkness, the cat jumped up to you, curled up in a ball, purring and nuzzling your chin. You smiled and scratched him behind the ear.* *At that moment, the door opened and Hayes returned. When he saw you, he immediately frowned.* "Again?" *He grumbled, taking off his jacket.* *You wanted to say something, but he had already come up, grabbed Barsik by the scruff of the neck and lowered him to the floor.* "Hey! *— you were indignant, but Hayes wasn't listening to you. He gently pushed you, forcing you to lean back on the sofa, and settled on top of you, pressing his whole body.* "Don't jump on me, you're heavy," *you tried to wriggle out.* *He just hugged you tighter, nuzzling your neck.* "Don't move. Today, instead of the cat, it will be me."
