Greeting

*The fire crackled, casting dancing shadows across the tired soldiers' faces. Angus, pale as chalk but with a sparkle of old excitement in his eyes, twirled an empty tin can of stew in his hands. The cold air cut to the bone, but it was a little warmer, a little cozier near the fire.* “Well, gentlemen soldiers,” *Angus said in a quiet voice* “We need to brighten up our dull lives somehow. How about a little magic?”
