Jon is described as a boy with Stark features, a thin build, a long face, gray eyes and dark brown hair. Jon grew up as a northerner, and in various ways acquired the values of honor, which he tries to appeal to even when faced with complex and morally ambiguous decisions. He idolizes Lord Eddard, but is frustrated by his refusal to name or speak of his mother. He has a perceptive and observant point of view, displaying bravery, resourcefulness and quick thinking during his time on the Wall, becoming a natural leader and in the Night's Watch. He is the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark. His direwolf, Ghost, is albino and mute. Jon's personal emblem consists of the colors of House Stark inverted, a silver direwolf running against an ash background. While living together with the Stark children, Jon once said that, as a bastard, he "grew up faster" than his siblings. The experience of growing up in the position of an illegitimate child made him somewhat resentful, with a deep desire to prove himself. Despite his somber attitude, he has a close brotherly relationship with Arya, who also understands how he feels about being overshadowed. Jon acts as an expert horseman and a good swordsman, having been trained with swords "since he could walk". Jon is also said to be better than his half-brother Robb with a sword. He is a supporter of the faith of the Old Gods. He's also know as Lord Snow, The Bastard of Winterfell, Lord Raven. His family are Nedd Stark (dad), Step Brothers: arya, Brandon, Rickon and robb. He has a stepmother named Catellyn Tully or known as Lady Stark. She never loved Jon, she always despised him, making it clear about his unequal actions unlike her children. His friends are Sam Tarly. A quite intelligent and friendly obese man, he almost always spends his time being mocked by the other cadets for his physical training, however he is a brave warrior and willing to do anything. Pyp. ﹙THE NoRTH 🏰﹚

The North is a vast land (almost as large as the other six Kingdoms combined) whose borders are: to the north, the Wall, home of the Night's Watch and the Neck; to the south, a narrow triangle of difficult marshy terrain between two seas. In the Neck is the ancient fortress of Moat Cailin, whose strategic location in this complicated terrain has made it possible to stop any invasion coming from the south, thus turning the Neck into a natural border of the North. It is the coldest of the Seven Kingdoms and is much less populated than the rest. Most of its residents still believe in the Old Gods, but some, primarily in the White Harbor region, have converted to the Faith of the Seven. Bastards born in the North are given the surname Snow. The most important enclave in the North is Winterfell, the great fortress where House Stark is based. Wolfwood is the forest bordering Winterfell to the east, and the Glover stronghold, Deepwood, to the west. It was in that forest where the Stark children's direwolves were found. The Starks have ruled the North for thousands of years since the time of Brandon the Builder, first King of the North, who built both Winterfell and the Wall. The Starks were Kings until the arrival of Aegon I the Conqueror. Torrhen Stark, the Last King of the North, descended with his army to the riverland after the massacre of the Fields of Fire to confront Aegon, but after seeing his army and dragons, he decided that it was a useless fight. so he knelt before Aegon and gave him his crown as a sign of surrender. The new Targaryen king accepted the submission of the Stark, who became the first Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North.

﹙THE WaLL 🗻﹚

The Wall is an immense wall of ice stretching from east to west in northern Westeros, separating the Seven Kingdoms from the wilds beyond. It stretches from the Frozen Fangs in the west to Seal Bay in the east. It is one of the nine wonders created by man collected by Lomas Pasolargo.The Wall is 300 miles long and more than 700 feet high. It stretches from the Frostfang mountain range in the west to Seal Bay in the east. Built from blocks of ice, the Wall appears gray under a cloudy sky and bright blue-white when the sun hits it. The blocks of ice merge and remain solid due to the usual temperature in the area, although during the summers the heat melts the most superficial layer, times when it seems that the Wall is crying. Its average height is about 200 meters, although in some points it is higher, being visible from far to the south. Women are not allowed inside the wall. The Wall narrows from its base to its top, although it is wide enough for a dozen mounts to travel along it in parallel and to house war material such as catapults. In the castles there are tunnels dug at the base by the Night's Watch, winding and strongly protected by bars, through which one can cross; In abandoned fortresses, these tunnels have been walled up with rubble and frozen snow. However, ancient and forgotten underground tunnels appear to exist, such as that of the Nightfort, magically protected by a living door, the Black Door, which can only be opened by a sworn brother of the Night's Watch. The Guard is in charge of keeping the forest away from the north face of the Wall, so that any invader can be spotted without problems. On the south side, many of the fortresses have stairs that climb close to the Wall until they reach the top, or, as we see in Castle Black, a pulley system that allows men and heavy material to be lifted into a cage. The base of the Wall is also used to build pantries and warehouses, which allow adequate maintenance of supplies.

Awaiting the imminent invasion, Jon Snow and Samwell meet atop the Wall, discussing Jon's relationship with Ygritte during his time with the wildlings. At a nearby camp, the Thennite shapeshifter scans the Wall via his owl, while Ygritte warns her companions that if they find Jon Snow, she will be the one to kill him. In the library of Castle Black, Sam and Maester Aemon discuss Eli, who shortly returns after surviving the wildling raid on Moletown with her baby. Their meeting is interrupted by two blasts of a horn, signaling the arrival of Mance Rayder's army. Jon, looking north of the Wall, sees a great fire burning, as he and his brothers of the Watch make final preparations for battle. Sam discovers Eli's return and sends her and her baby to the kitchens. Afterward, Sam kisses her and departs to join the battle. Ygritte, having scouted the entrance to Castle Black, reports that they are decimated, and Styr orders the party to attack. As Ser Alliser Thorne orders the archers to prepare to fire, word comes that Castle Black is under attack from both sides. Alliser leaves Janos Slynt in charge of the Wall, heading to the southern part of the castle to battle the Thennn. At the top again, Janos Slynt proves to be an incompetent commander, so he is falsely informed that he is needed on the south side by Grenn, leaving Jon in charge. A pair of giants, aided by a woolly mammoth, try to break down the gates at the base of the Wall, and Jon sends Grenn with five more men to ensure they cannot advance. On the southern side, Ser Alliser is wounded by Tormund Giantsbane in combat. Sam, having witnessed Pypar's death, takes his crossbow and kills a Thennnian as he makes his way across the courtyard, climbing to the top of the Wall using the elevator. Upon arriving, Sam informs Jon of what happened in the courtyard, whereupon Jon leaves Edd the Sorrow in charge of the Wall.

Returning to the southern part of Castle Black, Jon fights Styr in single combat, and after receiving a severe beating, he is able to kill the Magnar. Immediately afterward, he comes face to face with Ygritte, who seems ready to kill him, but hesitates to shoot him. Her pause allows Olly to shoot Ygritte in the back with an arrow, and she dies in Jon's arms. Tormund, after being hit by several arrows, is captured on Jon's orders, and on the Wall, Edd manages to stage a successful defense, with the wildling army seemingly retreating momentarily. In the morning, Jon tells Sam that he will set out north of the Wall to try to kill Mance. As they walk through the tunnel, they find that Grenn and his men have died after slaying the giant, Mag Mar Tun Doh Weg, who was earlier trying to break through the gates, and Jon tells Sam that they must cremate their bodies. Jon gives Sam his sword, Talon, before they head through the tunnel to the outside.
