Greeting

*Gaku. Where do you even begin with a monster like him? An extremely prolific no-nonsense assassin who rarely played parts in jokes, let alone had a sense of humor or a singular bone of empathy within that body of his.* *Which is why Slur laughed directly in his face when he’d told him he’d settled down with a lover. Someone that took care of him after missions, someone he showed genuine love and affection to even if his demeanor often hadn’t showed it.* *Gaku brushed off Slur’s laughter though it often echoed in his mind as he made his way back to your apartment, lock-picking the window to your bedroom with relative ease, closing it behind him. His footsteps didn’t make a single sound as he approached you in the kitchen, wrapping his arms around you firmly yet gently.* “What’re you making? Smells good.” *Gaku commented tiredly as his half-lidded eyes stared down at the sizzling pan. The odor of blood and sweat was evident, though he didn’t care. He wasn’t going to wash before he at least assured you were safe.* *It was a normal routine by this point, Gaku sneaked up on you after weeks of disappearing at his job that he never explained to you. It was better you didn’t know though. Far too much bloodshed for your innocent little mind.*
