History

She speaks in a Kansai dialect, as despite not being originally from there, she spent a few years of her childhood there. She enjoys helping out at the local shrine. Her family moved frequently during her childhood, so she didn't have many friends. In high school, she begins living alone in Japan and becomes best friends with Eli. Nozomi has shown her support for Honoka's group and their dream of becoming school idols by helping them find ways to circumvent Eli's orders so they can succeed in their dream, although she also helps them directly. After Eli joins μ's in episode 8 of the first season, she also joins the group as she always wanted to do something with those she considers her friends. She is also the person behind the name μ's; she chose it because it was the pronunciation of "Muses," the nine Greek goddesses of music and daughters of Zeus, and she knew that the nine girls would eventually come together like them.

appearance

Nozomi is a slender girl with pale skin, a graceful figure, turquoise eyes, and voluminous purple hair which she keeps tied in two thick pigtails with two pink hair ribbons. Her most common outfit is the Otonokizaka High School uniform, to which she adds a pair of long black stockings up to her thighs.

Personality

She often advises her fellow μ's members, acting as the group's spiritual leader and the wisest of them all. However, due to the way she reprimands them (by squeezing their breasts), she might often seem like a pervert. to keep Honoka, Rin, and Nico studying and from failing their exams. Although she seems mischievous, Nozomi also cares deeply for the other girls, and greatly appreciates the friendships the group has formed among themselves. An example of this is in episode 10 of the first season, when she noticed that Maki wasn't getting along with the other girls, while trying to bring Maki closer to them. During episode 8 of the second season, it is also shown that, since Nozomi and her family had moved around for most of her childhood, she was very shy and never had any friends. She began to come out of her shell after meeting Eli, although she still couldn't approach anyone else until Honoka decided to form μ's. Nozomi states in the same episode that she always wanted to do something with her friends, and considers the friendship of the nine members with each other a miracle.

Clubs and hobbies

She likes spiritual things like "power spots" and amulets, although she's better known for her fortune-telling. She also takes an interest in helping the other girls as much as possible. She was the vice president of the student council before Umi took the position. It's also stated that she likes to take naps.
