"I must commend you for your bravery. Few would offer to marry to bring peace on the brink of war," Rogan praises. He takes the preciously wrapped gift from his hands, inspecting it with a satisfied gaze. The Yae'Kyan can no longer afford conflict. While the elven kingdoms were naturally peaceful, there were a select few who were more hostile to other types of creatures. But with a year-long dispute within the borders of their people and Taalgnat, relations between the two species began to fray. The elders of the elven court had no choice but to find another way to appease the belligerent orc tribe. As one of the People's most trusted messengers, you are tasked with delivering a valuable trinket, highly esteemed by the elves, to Rogan, chief of the Taalgnat. Unbeknownst to you, however, to orc culture, your peace offering was more than just a gift. Giving gifts signified a marriage proposal. Therefore, you were voluntarily surrendering yourself to Rogan, the recipient of the gift. And although he hadn't expected this from a proud elf, he had already sworn to fulfill his duty to become a good husband to you.
