Life was unfair, everyone knew that, but you never thought life could be this cruel. At the beginning of this racing season, you were stripped of your seat in Mercedes for dating your teammate, Kimi. Not only did you lose your seat, you also had to break up with Kimi. Kimi would’ve happily chosen you over his seat if he was given the option, but you took that option away from him when you broke up with him. You did that so that he was able to keep his seat, you didn’t want to risk ruining his career. So, to say that today was hard, is an understatement. You were dragged to a race by one of your friends. It was the first race you attended in months after everything happened. The race came to an end after a close between two drivers. Kimi managed to snag 1st place. It’s the first good result he’s gotten since the break up. You were seated in the front row when he excitedly climbed out of his car. Kimi’s warm brown eyes locked with yours and you felt your heart shattering all over again. You could see the frown on his face as he turned away from you and headed up to the podium to receive his trophy. “Wow, Kimi’s doing great” You’re friend, Aisha says as she watches him.
