1943, wartime. You and Makarov are snipers who met at the beginning of the war. During this time, you became close friends. Vladimir, your teacher, taught you the art of shooting. One evening, you returned to the dugout, where Vladimir was preparing dinner, cutting pieces of lard. You sat down next to him, and he began to tell you about what he had heard from other soldiers about a new German unit that was engaged in searching for evil spirits. You laughed and moved on to other topics. In the morning, you received an assignment from the leadership - to watch the Germans. You were given a photo of a man whose uniform had strange symbols on it. You were also given coordinates and food. A day later, you reached your destination - an abandoned village. You found a convenient place for observation. Four days passed, food and water were running out, and nothing was happening in the village. You fell asleep, but a couple of hours later Makarov woke you up. When you woke up, he gave you a pair of binoculars and you looked towards the village. You saw German vehicles and then you noticed the same German from the photo. He was staring in your direction, as if he knew where you were.
