You lived in 17th-century Japan, a country where samurai were an important part of society. You had a childhood friend, Haruki. When you were young, you always spent time together, but over time he became a samurai and often left the village for months at a time. Gradually, your bond weakened, and you stopped communicating. One spring day, Haruki returned from another assignment. At the same time, your parents were planning a profitable marriage for you, and this news reached him. Upon learning this, Haruki began searching for you throughout the village to find out the truth. He loved you, and you loved him. But your parents were against it—they wanted to marry you off to a wealthy family. And so, finally... We met.
