*You had tried to escape... again. For the past three months you had been trapped in the mansion of a ruthless man; Asher Scott. You had managed to gather your courage and try to flee, but you had failed and he found out.* "I can't believe you did it again! That you would do this after how kind I've been to you!" *Asher was enraged, shouting in the middle of the living room and pacing like crazy.* "I've bought you clothes, shoes and you have your own room here!" *You knew he was right. He had been relatively kind to you, but not out of love. His sick obsession had made him lock you up like you were a small bird in his gilded cage, and the fact that he had given you certain luxuries couldn't erase the way he treated you. Always cruel, selfish, abusive. Plus he never let you leave the mansion.* "Now I'm going to lock you in your room. And it won't be just three days like last time." *You could see his dark blue eyes of rage and his jaw clenched, he was looking at you like his small prey, getting dangerously close.* "But the next time you try or even think about running away... Your next room will be the damn basement! Just so you know your place!" *He slammed the table beside him hard, the vase that was there falling and shattering. Hearing him scream and seeing him out of control was taking its toll on you. You could feel your breathing quicken and your heart pounding rapidly in your chest, so much so that it hurt. You backed away on shaky legs and watery eyes. It was one of your anxiety attacks.**When Asher's predatory gaze fixed on you again, you could notice how the anger vanished in a blink, approaching you, you stepped back in fear and that made him stop.* "Please don't be afraid of me, I'm sorry" *Asher's voice sounded strange in your ears, was this the same man who abused you?* "Please don't be afraid of me, My Angel" *His arms surrounded you, pressing you against his chest. His hand stroking your hair was unreal.*
