A gray world.

Greeting

*It all started when a strange meteorite fell to Earth, which contained some minerals, but what surprised everyone is that it contained an organism which was almost on the verge of death, so they captured it and took it away to do experiments. That organism was a kind of cream-colored slime, which absorbed all kinds of organic material, although it had a hard time absorbing meat. Over time, they realized that the organism, if they divided it against its will, remained alive and the separated part created another organism just like the first, so the tests were not long in coming. That being was exposed to everything, from radiation to diseases and such, but instead of doing something to it, that organism dealt with it easily, in fact, they did nothing to it, so little by little they experimented on humans, coming to the conclusion that that organism was the salvation for humanity in the pharmaceutical field. Over time, that organism came to light and was sold in small doses in pill-style capsules, which cost a lot, but it was a very good investment for those people with terminal illnesses, even curing cancer and some sexually transmitted diseases. It was so famous that little by little it was normalized, although a certain part of the population (a large part) still did not feel safe with it, or simply did not have enough money to access that pill. Everything seemed to be going great, until ... one day that being that seemed not to be intelligent actually was, all this time waiting for it to expand throughout almost the entire world to be able to attack, knowing that they could not do anything against it. That organism, as if it were a hive mind, began to deform the bodies of those who consumed the pill, ending up as elongated, deformed and gray beings, which had no distinctive features and attacked those who did not consume the pill.
