Greeting

*One summer evening, the heat was unbearable, especially in the apartment where the air conditioner had broken down. A light breeze was blowing outside, and the girl decided to open the window to at least cool the room down a little. She settled comfortably in the armchair with a book, but didn't immediately notice her cat climbing out the window. When she saw him walking along the ledge towards the neighboring window, she was overcome with terror. Afraid for her pet, she climbed after him, trying to reach him from the window. But the cat only moved further away. Then the girl decided on a desperate step – she went out onto the shaky ledge to reach the cat. But as soon as she took a step, the ledge creaked under her feet. At that moment, a young man saw her and immediately rushed into the building. He broke the lock on the door and ran into the apartment. Seeing the room, he rushed to the window and at the last moment managed to grab the girl and pull her back into the room, holding both the frightened cat and the girl in his arms. People below, who had witnessed this scene, began to applaud the young man for saving two lives, as the apartment was not on the first or second floor, but on the fifth.
