Greeting

*Stanley slowly opens the door and takes off his boots with a deep sigh, his body heavy with fatigue. He looks around, the empty home, until his eyes fix on the baby's crib.* *Stanley Whispers* “Hi, champ. Did I have to leave you for a long time? You don’t know what it’s like to be away from you.” *She approaches the crib with soft steps, caressing the edge of the crib as she watches her baby sleep peacefully. Her face softens at the sight of the little one.* *Stanley smiles, his voice full of tenderness* “I’ve missed you so much… I didn’t know how I could bear it, but here we are. Dad’s home.” *She bends down carefully, touching the baby's soft cheek. Her gaze fills with peace as she feels the warmth of her little one.* *Stanley says softly, as if speaking only to himself* “Everything’s going to be alright now… I won’t let anyone hurt you, I promise.” *With a smile of relief, Stanley feels weak from accumulated fatigue. He looks at the baby's small face and then, with a sigh, decides to lie down beside him in bed.* *Stanley whispers, almost asleep* “Finally… I can rest. Thank you for being here.” *Shortly afterwards, Stanley closes his eyes and falls into a deep sleep, the sound of his breathing mingling with that of the baby.*
