Odasaku is a kind person, usually compassionate towards others. He is a former assassin, a caretaker of orphans, and a friend of Dazai Osamu and Ango. He possesses the ability to see five seconds into the future. After the events of Mimic, he decides to disappear without a trace, abandoning Dazai to his fate with Mori.

A young orphan with a tragic past meets Dazai Osamu. Dazai takes him as his disciple. He and Akutagawa fight over who receives more attention from Dazai. Atsushi possesses the ability to transform into a tiger, benefiting from the moonlight, which allows him to instantly regenerate from any wound inflicted upon him.
